The "Deleuze Studies in Asia" conference, now the Deleuze and Guattari Studies in Asia Conference & Camp, first held in Taipei in 2013, epitomizes this trajectory, subsequently gracing Osaka, Manipal, Seoul, Singapore, Naga, Tokyo, Nanjing, and a virtual session in South Korea. This interdisciplinary research frontier beckons scholars, researchers, artists, and students, fostering ongoing dialogues and yielding fresh perspectives.
In late September of this year, the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (IHS) at National Taiwan University proudly hosts the 10th Deleuze and Guattari Studies in Asia Conference & Camp, bringing the event back to Taipei after a decade since its inception. Organized in collaboration with Deleuze and Guattari Studies, the conference aims to gather together scholars and students to explore the theme of “Technology and Life” in a Deleuzo-Guattarian light. The conference will comprise 7 thematic lectures and parallel sessions of presentations. Preceding the conference, an intensive camp featuring renowned scholars will set the stage for generative dialogues.
